| Trail Rated Difficult, due the extreme switchbacks and steep descend down into Telluride. It can be extremely dangerous so they say. The climb to the top of Black Bear is fairly easy, the trail gets tougher on the descend but the beauty only begins, awesome water falls and cross creeks, then you open up to Bridal Vail Falls and the power house which still supplies some power to the town of Telluride. Continue to descend several switchbacks until you get into Telluride Co. We stop for lunch . Then we have to get back to Ouray so. | |
