| There is still snow several feet
high on the side of the trail in July. On this trail we see
some of the most beautiful wild flowers in the world. And
several old mines. We see the remains of the old Tom Boy
Mine townsite cover the floor of the Savage Basin on the
south. You can again see the water falls of Black Bear Pass
to your right. Back to Ouray we go. When there it is party
time then after that. All most every one heads for the Ouray
Hot Springs Pool to swim. |
